A lovely, relaxing stay. The views are spectacular. The campsite has been well designed so that you feel you have your own private space. The facilities are excellent and the shower is top notch, always a concern when you've got long hair! The staff were lovely, friendly and accommodating. Jim, the site manager was great. Looking forward to booking a return visit.

Stunning Location and Quirky Accommodation – But Some Basics Missing We recently stayed at The Temple Folly and overall had a lovely time. The setting is truly stunning, with fantastic views over the valley towards Bolton Castle. The outdoor seating area was peaceful and private, and the wood-fired hot tub was a real treat – perfect for soaking in the surroundings. The accommodation itself was quirky and full of character, which added to the charm. It’s a very secluded spot, ideal for getting away from it all. That said, we did run into a few practical issues that made things a little frustrating: • The listing stated that there was an oven and a microwave, but there was neither. This meant much of the food we brought had to go back home unused. • Only 8 matches were provided for lighting the hot tub and fire pit – not nearly enough, especially when trying to light fires outdoors in the wind. • The washing-up liquid was practically empty, and there was no handwash in the bathroom – just an empty bottle. • The outside dustbin was already full from previous guests, leaving us with nowhere to put our own rubbish. These are small things that are easy to fix, and with a bit more attention to detail, this place could be outstanding. The location and charm are certainly there – it just needs a few essentials to match. Bottom line - would I stay there again - absolutely!

Wonderful break. Stayed with my teenage daughters and dog. Beeches Yurt was perfect, great view - greeted by the cows and totally enclosed so dog was safe. Good idea to get hot tub warm and ready for when we arrived. Great location for exploring Leyburn, Hawes and surrounding areas.

Our yurt was comfortable and tidy, and the view from "Rowan" was absolutely stunning. Jim was so helpful with arrival and getting us some delicious meals to barbecue. We had a great stay!

My son and I had a wonderful stay. Perfect for some quiet 1-1 time together. Jim and Bridget were very welcoming showing us around the farm and telling us about the animals. Beautiful spot with beautful views. The yurts were comfortable and warm.
