Extremely unprofessional & incompetent - they actually let a house with no loft insulation & an incorrect energy rating. They also failed to mention a sub-meter which meant we had to pay the landlord's electricity bill - & then repeatedly press for reimbursement with no help from Bartles. If you're considering renting through them - be warned ⚠️

Mr Bartal kicked my family with a 2 year old baby and 2 teenagers out a rented property 4 days before Christmas after 3 years of renting from them, we never once missed a rent payment , always on time even through lockdown . we had decorated 70% of the house paid for by myself with no financial help from Bartals , any repairs made where badly done and laughable I do not recommend. He is a Penny pinching Scrooge and you will regret dealing with them if you do

I was a tenant renting via this agency recently for three years. I would have left sooner if I had the means to do so due to their despicable behaviour. - Essential repairs ignored. - Attempts to make illegal rent increases without following the letter of the law. - Using a key without permission or prior notice, to let themselves in whilst you're sleeping! - Questionable tradesmen. - If you want to make any rightful complaint, expect to be threatened and intimidated by Mr Bartle himself. I cannot recommend them even to my worst enemy I'm afraid.

I’ve bought a house and sold a house through Bartells and both were handled well with no issues. Unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend renting a property from him - house returned in good state as confirmed by landlady. However, a week later no deposit returned, I chased to be told accountant on leave then for a further two weeks. 3 weeks to return is unfair

I wouldn't recommend this estate agency if you are a prospective tenant. We were close to securing a property but without even bothering to inform us, they awarded the tenancy to another person and changed the rightmove listing to let agreed. A really shabby way to do business and not the way you should treat people. If that's how they treat potential tenants how do they treat tenants? Certainly an unprofessional way to do business. So no we wouldn't recommend Bartles Estate Agency if you are looking to rent a property.
