Can’t praise this garage enough. Really helped us out of a bad situation, where the car was going to cost more than it was worth to fix, had we got the new part that was required. Nick was so helpful and removed the part, sent it off to be fixed and replaced the part again for a fraction of the price we’d been quoted elsewhere. Really helped us out of what we thought was a helpless situation. Thank you guys, absolute stars!

At very short notice, Allroad Autocare kindly took the vehicle in, carried out diagnostic checks, and gave us a clear update – all without charging us a penny. They could easily have taken advantage of the situation, but instead they showed real integrity, professionalism, and care. The team were friendly, helpful, and genuinely looked after us during a stressful moment. It’s rare to find a garage this honest. Highly recommended — especially if you need support in an emergency or are looking for trustworthy service in the York/Tadcaster area.

Where can I start? So sorry to send this message, but I feel everybody needs to know about my issue with this garage Booked my car in a month ago for service and MOT runs out at the end of this month. Took it in Monday evening booked in for MOT and service on the Tuesday. Spoke to a nice chap called Nick very pleasant when I drop the car off expecting to have the car serviced and MOT on Tuesday I said no rush Wednesday would be fine. He said no problem. I will ring you late Tuesday and give you an update on what is happening. He never did. I tried to ring them no answer left a message came to Wednesday morning I rang up again a guy answered Nick was meant to ring you regarding your car. There was a few issues one was welding he said we don’t do welding I said okay have you serviced and the MOT no we’ve done nothing. I said why he said we don’t do welding we were backwards and forwards with this. It was ridiculous so I said leave it I will take it somewhere else, which will be probably impossible to book it into another garage now as it runs out at the end of the month they had my car for two days and did nothing no communication absolutely terrible and really upset me when I picked my car up. There was no apology given to me and no one spoke to me apart from one guy who give me the keys.

Always amazing, helped me out so much with my Seat Ibiza! Even when I've called up with an issue, they've seen me the same day to look at my car. They're friendly and reliable, never used a garage like this. They don't just rip you off! They really take care with work they do and customers and take a lot or pride in their work. Always give the best knowledge. Sadly my Ibiza died this week, but I'd definitely bring my new car to them!

I’m so thankful to this garage. I’m not local but was driving on the a64, heading on a long journey with 2 young children on bank hol fri eve when my car’s coolant system warning came on. Not able to get hold of any other garages, I chanced being able to find one in Tadcaster - this one was the only one still open, the gentlemen checked the engine, gave me coolant, gave me more to top up in case it happened again, and told me what to look out for. As a result I got to my destination without further issues that night. The kindness of strangers… thank you & I wish your business all the best.
