Thirsk Library

Thirsk Library is an absolute gem. It's all run by the community, for the community, & the volunteer staff always go out of their way to help you do whatever you need. Both my kids love it, & we are constantly in & out all week for various clubs, activities or getting/returning piles of books. Their Lego club is awesome, & at a pound for a Tuesday or Thursday after school activity it's the best value you'll get anywhere. It's a happy, warm & friendly place that we are so lucky to have as a local resource. There's also usually free parking places right outside.

A very cozy place for studying, free WiFi after registration, free computers, toys & play books for kids. I'll say 3 star because it's not very big, there's no access to e-Library. Overall it's a very good place to focus if you want to get away from the distractions at home or work.

Very friendly and helpful staff, spacious site, well lit and with a lift to the first floor, plus a couple of dedicated parking spaces.

Great library. Volunteer staff amazing, very helpful. Modern facilities. Limited parking.
