Absurd prices considering the Black Bull and Three Tuns are only a 2 minute walk away and sell drinks at half the price. Decent interior though.

A great friendly pub. Trying to talk the wife round to moving to Thirsk as it's a lovely place and it would be a great local. It's that or bumping her off...If you see me and the wife drinking in the pub then it went well. See me on the news, then it didn't ..😀

Hidden gem on the edge of the city centre with a great selection of hand pulled beers, good food and a lovely beer garden to enjoy in summer! On my visit both the ladies serving behind the bar one lunchtime were friendly, helpful, and smiling, which made a real difference. They made me feel like I was a local....

Absolutely loved this pub. Was in Thirsk for the weekend for the races and staying right across the road so this was our local and we couldn't fault it. We met some characters who we got on very well with a shout out to the hosts their service was great and to a couple of lads Rick and Mark who made us feel very welcome will definitely be returning. All good luck to The Cross Keys in these tough times. Ian and Geraldine Greenwooin
