This was a superb pub for drinking, located conveniently across from the train station for a quick stop! The block across the ceiling adds a nice feel covered by placemats and counter is well-presented, staff were friendly too. I had a refreshing pint of Red Stripe at comfortable seating, appreciating the old school character of this pub!

We stayed in our campervan for the night, we arrived late, I think they stopped serving food, but they very kindly made us some burger and chips, and oh my what a lovely burger, we were told they make there own burgers and it shows as it tasted so good. The staff and locals were friendly and kind. The price for staying in the carpark is £10 per night, they do live music some nights too. I will definitely be returning. Its right next to the railway station and near a road but its not to bad, for what we needed, it worked fine.

Awful place. Broken, dirty, left over milk in the fridge, left over shower gel. Greated my a drunk owner who didnt know we where coming. Very moody lady behind the bar. Cost a fortune for a room that wasnt worth the price of the overpriced excuse of a coffee that was served to us.

Had the pubs signature burger, which was amazing. One of the more expensive burgers I've had, but worth every penny. Large portion sizes and cooked beautifully. Lovely pub with great indoor and outdoor seating. Pool table, dart board and TV's for sports.
