About Yorks of Thirsk

Description

Yorks of Thirsk is a family friendly and relaxed café, sandwich take-away and ice cream parlour situated in the centre of the historic market town of Thirsk. New owners Matthew Fowler-Jones and Faye Harrison are extremely keen to continue the warm Yorkshire welcome offered by the previous owners.

With its roots well established in the fabric of the Thirsk community, Yorks offers a fantastic selection of homemade food and cakes made utilising an array of fine produce from the area served in our cosy and comfortable cafe. Our hot food specials and cakes board, changes on a daily basis.

Yorks has a cycling theme (bike locks are available to use for those arriving on two wheels), and is a hub for numerous cycling clubs, yet extends the welcome to families, visitors, walking groups, day trippers, Bruce Springsteen fans and well behaved dogs too!

With its stripped pine floorboards, quirky furniture and warm lighting, Yorks is a spacious yet cosy environment to enjoy some fine, homemade Yorkshire produce. You can even take some home too!

Matthew and Faye look forward to welcoming you soon.
