Absolutely wonderful dine in Chinese, very accommodating for a walk in and not booking-THANK YOU! Ordered set meal for 2 & salt and pepper ribs, honey chilli chicken, and noodles. Fantastic portions and complimentary prawn crackers. Polite and attentive waiter/waitress. Really really delicious food and a treat for a meal out. Would absolutely recommend!
Dropped in here on the off chance. Welcomed in to the restaurant. Super waiting team. Asked us how spicy we wanted our Singapore Noodles. Food was fresh, tasty and plentiful. Drinks a reasonable price. Overall an absolute must visit if you’re in Thirsk.
If you don't mind a few rowdy, noisy locals, then this is a highly polished rough diamond. Hiding away in a corner of the Market Place, it's easy to overlook. Even when you walk in it still just looks like your average takeaway with a restaurant trashed on. But trust me, it's worth venturing in. The staff are incredibly friendly and efficient. Just the right amount of time given for you to choose what to order, and no big waits between course. Though they do ask if you want a pause. The food was wonderful. The chicken and sweetcorn soup was full of flavour. The aromatic lamb starter for 2, very generous and equally lovely. For the mains we had beef stay and char sui pork in ginger and sorting onion. Both dishes were amazing! The pork was especially good with ginger ginger just bordering on, but never quite, too much. Perfectly balanced. Good size portions all round and quite reasonably priced. I can't recommend the restaurant enough!
Best Chinese takeaway in Thirsk for sure. never dissapointing! their customer service is always good, very pleasant if you eat in the restaurant or pick up an order, food is ready in a decent amount of time (20-25 mins from personal experience) everything always tastes great and to top it off, you don’t pay a stupid amount of money! love it.
Food was excellent. Will definitely go back when we're next in Thirsk.
