Ordered at 19:35 on a Sunday evening to be told delivery at 20:55, not a big order so not expecting to be a priority, called the place at 20:58 to ensure the order was processed. To be told verbatim “yours is next out” by 21:30 when the place closes I made my own food. Only for the food to turn up at 21:42. Tried to be as polite as possible to the delivery lad but refused the order. I definitely could have made my own pizza in 2 hours. I have heard the food is decent here however I’ll certainly consider other options next time I fancy a takeout.
Second time ordering and the burgers and pizzas are literally the best in Thirsk! They arrive usually earlier than the given estimated time , super fresh & hot! This is our go to place now!! Thankyou so much 👌🤩
We ordered our food on the app & when it didn’t arrive called Thirsk who confirmed they hadn’t received the order & we would have to wait 50mins for our order which really was not satisfactory as we had guests. When I tried to explain this & complain the male I was speaking to hung up on me. Truly the worst customer service I’ve encountered & really rude. Before hanging up the male tried to absolve regency of any responsibility when their app goes wrong by saying we should just ring in our order… what is the point of having an app? as this isn’t the first time we’ve had issues. He wasn’t even interested in what the order was as to whether he could’ve got it through knowing our predicament. We’ve been regular customers of regency for years but will be now seeking a new option. Suffice to say the Chinese was able to provide a takeaway in 15mins!
Ordered a pizza and a kebab at the weekend. Arrived in good time and the pizza was one of, if not, the best I’ve had from an independent takeaway in the area. Sadly, I can’t say the same about the kebab. Whilst it was a generous amount of meat, it was beyond bland and unseasoned. I took part in the Thirsk takeaway kebab lottery and lost once again!
Great takeaway! pizza was lovely and the sides I got tasted great too. Food was hot upon arrival which sounds silly to say but a lot of places will give you cold food unfortunately. I got a delivery and it arrived sooner than estimated.
