We stumbled upon this café and what a lucky find. My daughter is vegan and dairy free which often makes for a difficult time, but not here. The staff were excellent and helpful. I had the vegetable soup with a cheese scone and my daughter had beans on toast (gluten free) with vegan cheese on top. All the food was freshly done and excellent. Highly recommend for quality of food and service.
Fantastic gluten free afternoon tea! Great selection of sandwiches and cakes would definitely recommend lovely staff. Other great gluten free options on there normal menu also
Usually amazing food. But, went yesterday and it was nowhere near as good as usual. The bacon was either reheated in or cooked in the fryer on 2 dishes at the table. Please dont go down the route of deep frying things to make service faster. Bianco do that with their breakfasts and theyre now empty at breakfast time.
Esther and the team are a sheer delight in tandem with the very wholesome food , that is rarely observed in some eating establishments. It is what can only be described as delicious food that they serve here at the wonderful Pantry, which in turn makes for a very lip snacking tummy satisfying experience.highly recommend to those who like proper food made and served well if your in this lovely town of thirsk. Pop in and say the man with beard sent you.😃
I went to the Pantry today with my mother and a friend. Everything from the welcome to paying the bill was excellent. We had vegan breakfasts and coffee. I have to say it was the best breakfast I have had in any eating establishment. It was hot and delicious. The addition of avocado and watercress was really tasty. I had afternoon tea at the Pantry before lockdown and that was good too. On that basis we recommended it friends who used it recently and enjoyed the experience. If you're in Thirsk definitely give this one a try. Well done to all the team!
