Dear Stoneacre Thirsk Team, I am writing on behalf of my partner, Fiona Varley, regarding her recent visit to your Thirsk branch. Fiona booked her car in for a service, and we would like to commend the service department for their excellent and professional assistance—it was, as always, a very positive experience. Prior to her appointment, Fiona received a call asking if she wanted to upgrade her car. She expressed that she was interested in an evaluation of her options, but this evaluation was not provided during her visit. During the appointment, she was approached by a salesperson who repeatedly tried to push new cars, offering options that did not meet her stated preferences (e.g., automatic transmission, specific color choices). When she reiterated her requirements, the salesperson walked away without further assistance. Additionally, when leaving, Fiona was addressed in a dismissive manner by the salesperson, which we found both unprofessional and unnecessary. While we truly value the high standard of service provided by your service team, the sales experience was disappointing and has left Fiona hesitant to return. I have been using Stoneacre Thirsk for the past 5 years, looking after my Ford for servicing and MoT's etc. My most recent visit was again a pleasure, with a great customer experience start to finish from Sean and the team. The personal service is exceptional meaning that I have every confidence any work is going to be done to my satisfaction, with great communication throughout the process.
