Thirsk Doctors Surgery

Thanking the surgery for such an efficient service, I have never had any issues speaking to a Doctor when needed and find the new online service very easy to navigate, feel we are very lucky in this area to have this available to us.

I have fairly recently moved to Thirsk and have been most impressed with Thirsk Doctors’ Surgery. The staff are professional, kind and, most importantly, proactive.

I just want to say how my recent experience with Thirsk Doctors Surgery was extremely helpful. I was diagnosed with a new condition at James Cook hospital and a new medication, this resulted in me wanting answers to questions so I turned to my surgery and was given an appointment. I didn’t see a doctor but the young man I saw was extremely knowledgeable, had taken time to read my notes and was able to answer all my questions. He put me at ease and spent a long time reassuring me. I left the surgery feeling so much better. Thank you.

The ladies on reception were really friendly, precessional and helpful. The Doctor and the nurse were very helpful, and interested. The pharmacy team were really pleasant too. I felt the whole surgery itself seems to have a different atmosphere, in a really positive way. They do a great job helping us.

Staff treat all with courtesy and respect but also compassion and empathy. I am 79 years old, a widower with numerous ailments but doctors and all staff have contributed not just to keeping me alive but also to help me live as full a life as possible and manage any problems.
