Ridiculously friendly and warming welcome in such a beautiful well presented B and B. Very tidy and modern rooms with everything you could ask for. Knowledge of the area was also very welcome to us as we needed a taxi into town, which wasn't a problem and then advised where to eat and drink. Breakfast was delicious and an abundance of different options including full breakfast to continental and fresh fruit. All together making a very nice stay and highly recommended and will be back soon for definite. Thanks again Val and Lee. 👍
This was my first B & B staying in Yorkshire Country. . It was superb. The owner Val is kind, friendly, and knowable about the area. Accommodations were awesome. Rooms were beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. Breakfast is done per your request and very yummy. My choice for staying in this part of England.
Val and Lee made us feel at home instantly. We were greeted with a lovely cup of coffee and a cake. Their home is beautiful and spotless There is everything you need for your stay, from toiletries to a hairdryer, sleeping eye mask , tea, coffee, milk and biscuits in your room . .And if you are wanting a lovely country walk, they can provide you with ample places to go. Would highly recommend Laburnum house

Just had a fabulous weekend at laburnum House Thirsk. Room was lovely, breakfast was very enjoyable and val and Lee made us really welcome. Couldn't of picked a better place to stay for our race weekend. Hope to be back in the future. Marie and mike from Liverpool
