Running off Wensleydale and into Upper Wharfedale, with fells rising either side of Bishopdale Beck on its journey to the River Ure, this is a little gem of a Dale in which to relax, unwind and take in the splendours of this special place.

The delightful village of Thoralby, complete with village shop and post office, is at the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. Cycling, walking, exploring or just sitting, however you relax this is your ideal area - there is nowhere quite like it.

Converted circa 1980 The Old Barn is a traditional Dales barn with the en -suite accommodation, decorated and furnished to a high standard, looking out onto gentle pasture towards the open fells rising above neighbouring West Burton and Wensleydale beyond.

With superb walks straight from the door The Old Barn is perfect if you are looking for peace and quiet. Waking each morning to a wonderful breakfast to set you up for your days in The Dales.
