Country Living Adult Only Campsite

I would highly recommend staying at Country living if your looking for amazing peace and quiet, you can just be left alone and enjoy the amazing Country side, be woken up in the morning to the sound of the birds. The shower and toilet is very clean. The owners are lovely and just come and say hi then just leave you to relax and enjoy your break, there is a bus at the end of the lane that will drop you at the pub for great food and a cold one or two or carry on to York for the day and enjoy this amazing City. Thanks again for my stay, I will definitely be back.

We spent 2 nights here & it was lovely, very warm welcome from Lesley, who helped us with the bus time table into York ( as a road was closed ) Would definitely stay again. 😃

Great little place. Peaceful as it's an adults only site. Good clean facilities - the loos are clever, thought I was on a plane! Plenty of space between pitches, half of which are ehu's. Water available on each pitch too. Took the dog, and she loved the walk through the wooded bit down the lane. Lesley, the owner, is more than accommodating and great to chat to about anything and everything! Would definitely come back.

This has to be our favourite site. We have been coming here for over 5 years now and it never disapoints. The location is perfect and in a beautiful village and there's a regular bus service to York if you fancy. Lesley and Dave are always on hand if you need anything and are such a lovely couple. They work very hard to make this place the perfect little sanctuary. There is a shower and toilet which is spotlessly clean and is an added bonus as most little sites we've been on don't have this. The walks from the site are great too, so it's great for dogs. Oh and it's adult only, another bonus. It's such good value for money, can't wait to be back in August 🙂

Took our tourer to this fantastic site, so easy, drive on , choose your pitch and get on with enjoying this peaceful location. Lesley welcomed us with a big smile, we chose a metered pitch , had our electric heater on in the night and it was extremely cheap to run, very economical, never felt so relaxed, leisurely trip into York and a stroll to the local , didn't want to leave, see you again ,thanks for the best time
