Fabulous old ruins of the 19th century Holy Trinity Church set in parkland near Stockton Town Centre. It is fenced off so no access into the building but still offers some good pictures. One for drone photos.

Beautiful architecture. It should be restored if possible. Empty and locked but one can take a round and look around.

The church is located in a big open park (Which used to be the cemetery). There are a few signs out the front with a brief history of the church which is an interesting read. The building is all closed off by a high fence and security patrol there as well. I am glad they kept it and did not demolish the building as it is part of Stockton's history.

The foundation stone for the Holy Trinity church was laid in 1834.The building works appears to have been completed by Christmas 1835 however it was not open until 1838.The church stood empty for 2 years until the 26th September 1991 when there was a fire which was thought to have been started by vandals. It is surrounded with a good greenery, like a park. But it's not suggested for family because of bad people all arounded. The church is closed we can only see outside the boundaries. Its good for a one time visit and jogging in the park.
