The Playground

A nice clean space for children aged 5/6 and under. I booked via Facebook Messenger and stated that my children were 8 years old, 6 years old, and 8 months old. I’m not from the area so hadn’t been here before, as soon as I arrived I could immediately tell my kids were far too big for the small play frame. I should’ve double checked this myself before booking, equally it could’ve been highlighted to me when booking. My 6 year old is large for his age too, so physically he was definitely a bit big to be there. We came for the Lilo and Stitch event which both kids loved - I don’t know if it was worth a £38 cost though. (£12 per child = £36, plus £2 for me. I think charging £12 for an 8 month old baby is very steep, especially when there’s no baby toys). Definitely come here if you have young kids - it’s great for them! Just not the bigger kids. ☺️

Arrived at 2.30pm. They said they'd be closing at 3pm despite advertising on fb that they'd be open til 4pm. Bit dodgy to hear that, they need to think about letting kids down and families possibly driving, parking, sorting kids out, and then letting kids down when arriving. 6weeks isn't easy for parents you know!

We’ve been a few times for kids birthday parties and every time our son has loved playing with his friends. Food and drinks for the adults is good as well.

I just wanted to say thank you so much for letting us hire the space for my sons 2nd birthday. Everyone had a wonderful time, it’s such the perfect size for toddlers. The girls were amazing, they couldn’t have done enough for us! We didn’t have to lift a finger so helpful and had smiles on there faces the whole time. Absolute credit to your business 🥰 the food was wonderful the kids loved it. I left two pieces of birthday cake and two books for your 2 children hope they got passed on to you. We done books instead of party bags. Thanks again and we will definitely be booking again for Myles’ birthday!
