Tiny pub, great beer and friendly atmosphere. Anthony the owner is knowledgeable and helpful, suggesting other real ale pubs too. Two beers on hand pull, few on tap and fully stocked fridge. Highly recommended, it is hidden in a little courtyard, but definitely worth finding!
A great addition to the Stockton Beer Circuit. Friendly and helpful owner, good beers on tap and a well stocked fridge with some new beers to try. I hope this place becomes established and an embedded part of the real ale scene in town. Bravo.
Tiny Pub Huge Heart. I absolutely loved my visit to The Fifth House last night. Amazing beer selection on keg and cask, but the biggest winner for me is the can selection in the magic fridge! I particularly enjoyed a couple of sours from vault city brewery. No and low alcohol drinkers are also catered for with a decent selection of beer and larger as well as soft drinks and coffees. A nice selection of bar snacks were also available, I had some wasabi nuts that had a tasty kick to them. Clearly, pride of place for owner Anth is his high quality whisky collection. I wasn't brave enough to try any this time round but maybe one day I'll give one a go. The bar had a steady flow of happy friendly customers the entire time I was there. Stockton has a great selection of bars, The Fifth House has joined them with a very strong start and I'm sure it will go from strength to strength.
Fantastic small pub with drinks for everyone's taste and a good selection of bar snacks to go with them
Excellent drinking establishment: its opening is the most momentous event in British history since the relief Mafeking. It is also nice see some one under the age of 70 opening a real ale bar in Stockton.
