Went here today with my son for dinner and the food was lovely and the price was really good. Me son had bacon and cheese burger with proper homemade chips and I had sizzling chicken fajitas and a nice pint.
Nice Pub always a few people in unlike most pubs nowadays. I always try to stop off if i am in the area its a shame its so far from Darlington where i live.
Dance floor in front of the dart board was bouncing when I left about 11.45pm. We were in a private room until about 11pm when they needed to set for next day. Staff were great.
£8, can't go wrong. Chips are lush and apparently they will box up anything you can't eat for later. Madri and Stella on tap and friendly staff. Good estate pub.
It's many many years since we were last in The Griffin. We would definitely go again. The meals were excellent, piping hot and very tasty and good value. The service was very good. Would recommend.
