We visit pretty regularly usually for breakfast after an early shop, the cafe opening at 8.30 is handy. Service at the till can be a bit slow and food service, which used to be very quick, is now also pretty slow even when there aren’t many customers. We usually order a cou[le of bacon rolls for breakfast which have in the past been pretty good. So we were a bit surprised on our latest visit in early december 2023 to find that the bacon rolls are now what can only be described as ‘minuscule’. A tiny overly toasted ciabatta roll so small that the bacon rashers hang out in a long fringe. Tasted ok except for the overtoasting, not burnt, just rock hard in places. Very dissappointing.

We had 2 warm cappuccinos and 2 eggs royale which were Luke warm eggs well over done, muffin not toasted. I won’t be using the cafe at Teesside park again definitely put me off.

Slow ponderous service and bad attitude from staff - the lady with the purple rinse deserves special mention in this regard. Tables, chairs and glassware so dirty we had to ask them to be cleaned. Would be better served buying food from the football and eating outside. A unpleasant blotch on an otherwise excellent store.

It's an odd experience at any M and S cafe. The Teesside Park one is no exception, in my opinion it's disorganised. The queue is or can be confusing, I prefer it when a member of staff is allocating tables but I'm aware that isn't always possible due to staffing issues but with the installation of self serve only in the clothing department downstairs, I'm thinking M and S are trying to reduce staff on a big scale. The food in the cafe is usually good, Jacket potato's are my usual. Coffee is good too. Staff are friendly-ish but I think they have to do alot, I understand that so maybe they aren't that customer focused. I go when I'm at TP but I wouldn't make a special trip.

Disappointing, lack of choice for basics, bread for toast only white and milk only full fat available yet food hall downstairs. Slow service, tea cold by the time toasted teacake finally arrived and this during quiet time. Need to up their game considering choice of other close by cafés.
