What can I say, I'm a frequent visitor of this little gem of a coffee stop. Mike loves his coffee, and when someone is as passionate about what they do as he is, the results show. Nevermind getting super sized absolute monsters of calorie heavy drinks, take a standard cup of some seriously nice coffee and let your senses enjoy the real deal. The worst days of the week are the days they aren't here.
Absolutely UNREAL! We literally did a 10 mile walk just to get this coffee and it was SO worth it! We got a Piccolo and a Cortado with a flapjack. Prices were fantastic! Cheaper than your standard Costa/Starbucks and 10000x better. Usually a Cortado is hard to pull off but it was amazing ❤️ the flapjack was also incredible 😍 Very friendly service, nice seating area nearby. Will be back ❤️❤️❤️
I've been coming here for years most lunchtimes with our dog, Rex, and just realised I never submitted a review! Excellent coffee, friendly service, and various snacks from local sources, including River Tees Honey which is harvested just a few yards away. Popular also with dogs thanks to the free treats!
Good to now have somewhere at the barrage where you can get a coffee. A good coffee too. Seems to have an interesting selection of sweet and savoury snacks to accompany in this smart little van. Plenty of seats nearby to sit by the river.
Whenever we go for a run, we always make sure to finish here so we can grab some flat whites. Best coffee in the area 👌
