Great venue with really friendly staff. Good range of drinks at good prices. Toilets were very clean and the whole place seems very well maintained. Would definitely visit again.
The people that go is what really ruins the place for me itβs very small has some nice decor aspects but itβs just too ghetto. Also the bands will be 1/5 being any good.
I don't go out often especially in the North East. I decided to go out as I had a 60th π birthday party paid to rent a room spent a lot on food and only 11 people turned up including me it was such a disappointment and it felt like a slap in the face that only a few friends mainly old school friends turned up (but it was still lovely and I really really appreciated them coming) So I decided to go out to the Ku bar on my own, The Mariachis were playing they were really good and entertaining they would be so good for parties π or a wedding π reception as they got everyone to join in .such a fun party atmosphere and no trouble I got one scowl but the majority mainly young people were inclusive and welcoming and I didn't feel left out. Oddly enough there is a Ku bar in London home to Bombshell on Wednesdays.
Great venue for Live music, supporting bands and artists across the UK. Reopened 20.05.21, attended to see The Lulas, Fantastic professional band performance to a socially distanced sold out crowd. Keeping live music alive.
Great venue for up and coming bands and intimate gigs for established bands. Had many good times here. Serve a decent pint too. Always decent tunes to be heard.
