Spent £21 on fish and chips, a kids box and a small sausage and curry sauce. Chips were undercooked and slimy, not really edible. There was no other customers in the shop, and still forgot to pack the curry sauce. Will not be going back, food is terrible.
What a rip off. Seriously £5.40 for a tiny sausage , dull dry chips , a 20p kids drink , cheap sachet of sauce and a 10p bag of sweets . Won't be going back. Do yourself a favour and stop overcharging for sub standard food. 2 children's meals and a medium fish £18. Staff member wouldn't smile in a comedy club imho. Won't be going back
The chips were ok and the peas were nice. I found the fish smaller that most places I have been to in the past, although it did taste ok. All in not too bad, but not good value for money considering the portion size.
Fantastic gluten free fish bites and chips. I have Fryer Tucks a whirl to avoid having to drive all the way to Redcar and only being allowed fish bites as a kids meal! I am really impressed with Fryer Tucks now it is under new management. It has a clean feel to it.
Drastic difference from before. Went once before when we moved to area and decided never again was really bad. However, just went 15 mins before closing and chips were fresh and piping would happily go back after the experience and staff were really friendly
