I travel about the North East a lot with work and I've used a fair few chippies and this place is up there with the best, really good. The lad is always pleasant and chatty. Most importantly the chips are crisp and fluffy, some of the best chips I've had. The fish is lovely and meaty and I really like the batter. There's some great lunchtime deals as well. Really is excellent, I can't understand a 1 star review so felt compelled to write this.
I’ve been several times over the last few months after hearing great things online, and I completely agree—it’s a lovely place. Everything I’ve tried has been spot on: the fish and chips, the parmos, even the doner kebabs and chicken tikka. I’m not usually a big fan of pizza, but I really enjoy theirs—tasty and cooked perfectly. The extra crispiness on the parmo breadcrumbs is a real highlight. Highly recommend. It’s also lovely and clean with nice friendly staff. 🤤
Never been here before and seen a video on TikTok about half price menu but it was only on the fish and chips not everything and the que was so long and waiting over 50 minutes to be served. Chips are horrible! I wouldn’t come here again sadly!
Service was spot on and the food was delicious even after being in a carrier bag for 10 minutes. Well worth the drive and it will be where I go in future for my fish and chips, curry sauce was also really tasty.
Best fish and chips ive had in a long time. Delivered hot and delivery man was so polite. Definitely recommend
