Ordered house special chow mein with rice noodles intead of normal noodles as I have dietary needs. Picked up as takeaway and got home to find they hadnt done rice noodles as requested. They want me to go back down to takeaway and wouldnt deliver even though it was their mistake so hung up on them. Wont be going again
Was surprised to find a full fried egg along with all the meats on top of my “house special fried rice”. I know some restaurants like to do things their own way but this style of rice wasn’t that good and was abit unexpected (the egg and slices of meat). I Would have just preferred a normal house rice with the meat and egg inside the rice, not on top. The rice seemed to be reheated and was clumped into fluffy balls. I really couldn’t eat it or enjoy it. First and last order unfortunately. The honey and chilli crispy beef was actually pretty good however.
Overall, the food was ok. The prawns in the chow mein were perfect, not rubbery like other reviews have said. The combo box was a bit of a let down though, the salt and pepper chicken, spring rolls and the chips were cold and dry like they had been reheated.
Absolutely horrific food, chips and gravy was like tasteless tarmac on warmed up chips. Stay clear use lanehouse Rd or Westbury St... 0/10
It was delicious and the people were so kind to me I've also got their food delivered to me before because the weather was bad and it was very fast despite the terrible weather. If you have any requests or allergies they actually listen and are careful to make your good according to it for example I wanted super spicy noodles and they made it so spicy that I was surprised with the amount of spice they put it but it was very good and I was very happy that they did it how I wanted them to. They all have excellent manners and are very patient towards their customers. Now I get my food from here and don't go anywhere else because I enjoy it so much. I would recommend this take away very much because of my amazing experiences. 😁
