I have been going to The Food Palace-Thornaby for at least 3 years, religiously every Sunday (Pay Β£5.50 delivery). Tonight I receive what's not even half a bag of chips. I ring them to basically be told that i'm lieing π He's adamant he seen the chef pack the chips and the driver wouldn't have time to eat them...that is the worst portion of chips I have ever seen and if I was going to try and pull a fast one I would be moaning about something else other than a portion of chips!
Been using The Food Palace for years. Food is gorgeous, great value for money, and delivery is always quick and Food always Hot. And also, its the only Chinese that I know that does thin noodle Chow mein. Which I absolutely love. Cant be doing with the normal Chow meins, with noodles like Thick Spaghetti. And comes in a big round deep carton, with easily enough for two. Keep up the great work. ππβ₯οΈ
1ST TIME ORDER AND I ONLY WANTED A CHINESE FOR ME MAM IT WAS HER 79th AND WELL SHE'S HARD TO PLEASE ( EXAMPLE OTHER PLACES OH ITS OK, OH ITS NOT BAD , OR I DIDNT LIKE THIS ) BUT TRIED HERE AND SHE SAID IT WAS VERY NICE. WE GOT THE beef chow, prawn toast , chicken satay, dumplins. WE HAD BEEN LOOKING FOR A GOOD CHINESE SINCE 2024 . GLAD I FOUND ONE. KEEP IT UP , GUY ON PHONE WAS ALSO HELPFUL. CEEBEE
Went here for 5 years chow means always come with beansprouts and edible. Ordered tonight and get a layer of noodles some veg mixed with chicken separately thrown on top. I wouldn't give it to my dog. When I rang the response was aweful. Must have 2 chef's always hit and miss but this is appalling. Wont return
Decent food but Iβd strongly recommend collection. I called up when it opened at 16:30, was told 30min delivery.. over an hour later and it turned up cold enough that it need a microwave
