I visited for the SDR200 celebrations where the car park was used for a presentation Ghost Train. It was close to the river, and about 2-3 minutes walk up a hill to the town centre.
Great empty car park on a Sunday afternoon. Free parking Sunday too. Parked here for an hour to show the children the river and bridges.
We went to Stockton on a Sunday. I couldn't not believe that car park was empty, parking was free and it's a lovely view. What more can you ask for from a car park. I think the app was Ring go for anyone visiting Monday to Saturday.
Excellent and scenic Riverside area for walking and cycling :)
It's a car park, what else can I say? I gone there early New Years morning feeling SEVERELY depressed 😔 contemplating as the rivers edge was feet away. But after a couple of hours "fighting my demons", I managed to muster up the strength to drive back home.
