Been with this surgery for a year and although not visited a lot never had any issues with staff. Today hubby is having a blood test, the receptionist at the blood test part - well May as well have a robot there. Leaning back in her chair, asked if this was correct place for bloods- grunt in reply, no interaction whatsoever with anyone who came in. Now, I don’t expect a full on chat or life story but a good morning and the word ‘yes’ would’ve been good.
I have diabetes after a ton of wrong advice from the Nurse Paula yesterday I was put in dansger by some of the tablet she gave me! playing about with my health! today on a call yet again she was stubborn and patronising not listening to any of my problem just keep interrupting me to try and make a point that quite frankly I was not interested In as I was trying to resolve my health issues I will file a formal complaint against the surgery now as this incompetents are playing with people health how can she get an idea of hats happened if she tell her story without listening to the fact?? What a horrible person to deal if you have medical problems absolutely disgusting. I rang 111 that send me to the hospital urgently the doctor did some checks and told me to immediate stop taking those tablets and she will write a letter to the gp to say this and also recommend a medication that I should take ! If a doctor that never see me identified this with a click of finger why the incompetent nurse that have access to my file every single day didn’t? I think best for all she quit and move on as people like this will kill innocent people due to their incompetence. Shocking is not even the right word for this monster
Great practice if you can’t get appointment I use the e consult the next day get phone call regarding my problem then they book you in for bloods tests or appointment face to face with doctor, reception staff are lovely especially Jill so helpful , I would recommend this surgery
My father in law was getting treatment. (Dressing changes) After a skin graft at the RVI Newcastle. We go to the rvi twice a week for for the past 7 weeks for this to be done. It is now at a point where the dressing can be changed at woodlands medical centre (his doctors) after the large wound had healed by the team at the plastics outpatients at the rvi. We where instructed by the consultant at the rvi to make an appointment woodlands. We did this after a call back to book the appointment. My father in law was phoned today by a member of staff from woodlands and was asked how long would it take to do if it's over 20 minutes that they didn't have the time to change and cancelled the appointment (even though this appointment was booked well in advance)X2 10x8 plasters and apply cream. I take time off work to take my father in law to rvi this literally takes 5 minutes to do personally witnessed by myself, that's why the team at the rvi deemed it easy enough for his doctors to do(it takes longer to park the car at the rvi). This has now caused a massive inconvenience for the team RVI and to myself having to drive and father in law to Newcastle and getting an appointment at the plastics outpatients at short notice. Absolutely disgusting that they can't change X2 plasters this shows how incompetent woodlands are don't use this doctor's unless you like being given the run around. (Avoid at all costs zero star's if I could)
Told Told I'm having bad thoughts and phone the samaritans yesterday yet still no appointment. Told me to get meds from 111, phoned 111 and was told they don't do meds. This is disgusting. Pointless! They are failing people.
