Been using Ingleby Autos for a few years now. Always found them really helpful and knowledgeable. We've had a lot of issues with our car (which is 11 years old now) and they've always done any work well and at a reasonable price. They always keep you informed of whats happening and check before doing any work. Aftercare is spot on too.

I'll start with the positives. The gentleman on the phone who I spoke with was quite polite and apparently helpful before my appointment. The negatives was the rest of my experience. Dropped my car off here as part of a warranty claim. Nobody on site when I'd informed them in advance when I will drop the car off, had to post keys through the letterbox. The car was booked in over a week in advance but for 2 days I went back to see my car in the car park with nobody investigating it and they still didn't know what was wrong with it. They tried telling me it required further investigation and "about a million plastic panels to remove." (I knew myself that there are 2 panels to access the majority of the air suspension components and they are easy to access if the car is on a ramp). I'm not saying garages can't be busy but don't have an appointment/booking system if you can't carry out work at the agreed time and don't try to blag your customers. If they'd have removed the said panels then they would have easily seen the damaged/corroded wiring going to the air compressor on my air suspension but they weren't able/willing/prepared to spend the short time required to actually investigating the issue. I've come away thinking they don't have the correct knowledge, tools or ability to diagnose Mercedes vehicles and won't be going back there again.

Great customer service, both on the phone and in person. I dropped my van off in the morning for a service and MOT and it was ready in the afternoon. I was given some advice about the valve stems and the price was fair, I will be back with both vehicles next year.
