Great choice of Kayaks and paddling gear from Peak,Palm, Sweet Protection, Typhoon, etc. Also some other outdoorsy bits head lamps and camping bits and pieces. Very helpful service and a changing room for trying on. Very happy with the helmet and gloves I bought here. In the National Watersports Centre. Accessible free parking. Nice 2 mile walk crossing the Infinity and Barrage bridges.

After quite a long internet search, we found the rare item we were looking for, and a few other things, and after speaking with Jess, they were quickly sent down to us in Devon. Jess is a credit to North Shore Watersports, and we'd be sure Jess represents them very well. Thank you!

I had never been in a kayak as of last year. I went to North Shore and met Kevin who runs the shop. At first I was baffled as he talks really quickly and I thought he was just a salesman, not interested etc. I was so wrong, he is just so busy with different things he never stops. And after a while I realised thats how he is. No nonsense and straight to the point. He offered to let me have a go in a kayak on the training area. He gave advice and helped me out and as soon as I pushed away from the side it was just amazing. His advice and knowledge is second to non. I went in yesterday after a year. He knew who I was and I upgraded my kayak after a pal new to kayaking had offered to buy mine. I've just picked it up today and it's brilliant. He really knows what he's talking about and it's no nonsense advice. I'm sorry I didn't get the name of the girl who works in the shop but she is very helpful also. I would definitely recommend this shop for advice and getting a new or second hand kayak. 5* The photos are the adventures I've been on after buying my kayak from North Shore. Peter.

We visited NorthShore Watersports at Tees Barrage and had a brilliant experience. Kevin was incredibly friendly and generous with his time, talking us through all the different kayak options and letting us try several out. He gave clear, honest advice without any pressure, and really helped us feel confident about our choice. The whole experience was relaxed, informative, and enjoyable. We’ll definitely be returning to buy. Highly recommended!
