Today my daughters came home after visiting this golf shop feeling incredibly hurt after the profiling done on them by a staff member, he seemed to assume that just because they were teenagers, they had the intent to steal. Asking ‘have you paid for those balls?’ And then snatching them out of their hands to put behind the counter, after they only tried to go upstairs to look at golf bags. A little while later, the same staff member came upstairs and made a derogatory comment towards them saying ‘spending a lot of time thinking up here… especially for a golf bag’ in an accusatory and rude manner. One of my daughters had been a member there for many years and I am appalled that this staff member would treat them in such a manner, particularly as they’ve have been here many times before and been nothing but respectful. They are both hurt and embarrassed by this. It is disgraceful that this staff member believes it’s okay to treat teenagers in this way and then get away with it. They will be taking their business elsewhere from now on.

Went in there this morning knowing what I was looking for. The 2 guys in store were absolutely fantastic with me and I came away with way more than I wanted whilst still sticking to my budget. Can't thank them enough, brilliant service.

Having read some of previous negative reviews about AG Ingleby Barwick, I booked a fitting. My initial contact via email was excellent, Reece was very accommodating and flexible about my appointment. On arrival I was met by the staff and taken to the fitting booth by a lady named Sam who carried out the fitting. Sam was absolutely brilliant, what an asset to the store she is. The fitting was very insightful, the information, patience and fantastic advice she gave me was excellent. Thanks again Sam, you were awesome!

To date I have always had great advice from the staff regarding the importance of getting the correct golfing equipment to suit my needs, it is far better to be fitted with the right equipment, than buy before you try. Be fitted with the correct equipment and you will find, this is effective way to improve your golfing. Go in and speak with the staff, they are very knowledgeable and helpful.
