Located in the heart of town centre. Dirty shower. Few rooms. Only 2 showers. Dirty toilet when we come in. Cleanliness is none to zero. Rude staffs. Too noisy, barely can get any sleep. Not worth. Cheap but not cheerful, not worth the price. Cold rooms
Booked a twin. When I arrived was given a double. When I queried the issue I was told it was the booking agents (Hotels.com) fault. Request for a refund was declined. This is a grubby, shabby little place. Avoidcat all costs!
This place was exactly what I would have expected for the price I payed and I am very happy with the service. The room was perfectly pleasant, the bedding was clean, a man came every morning offering to do housekeeping, the shower worked, the communal toilets were spotless and perfectly comfortable, and it was a 10 min walk from where I was working at the theatre. Overall I would recommend this to anyone in Stockton with purpose as an affordable place to rest your head. If I am ever back I will certainly stay here again!
Leo served me and poored the perfect pint of Guinness. She's got great banter and makes the place feel welcoming. Definitely deserves a promotion π
Theres a reason room so cheap, area is noisy curtains so thin and let all light in so woken as soon as it got light, claims to be no smoking but top floor stank of smoke, no preventative measures on fire escape door so people sat there smoking.
