Absolute icon, this bridge. It offers stunning views along the tees, you're able to see the barrage, teesside park, into Stockton town, even as far as Roseberry topping! It really is a fantastical masterpiece of construction, it looks absolutely stunning both from afar and whilst you're on the actual bridge. You want to see the photos of it at night, they're so much better honestly
Wow especially when lit up! I asked near and walked around until after sunset. Sunday before Christmas so quiet, really amazing π I think the sign is wrong and it's very deep...!
An Impressive structure and looks very striking at night, a lovely piece of engineering that really adds to the heritage of the region, down river from the Tees Newport Bridge and the Transporter Bridge so a great stretch of river if you want to see 3 amazing bridges "all sort of unique in their own right" in one go..
Great design in action. Got there before sunset and before it was illuminated but got some of the infinity effect. Do not miss.
It's a lovely bridge over a remarkable section of the River Tees, its always really calm walking across it and in the evening when the bridge it lit up it looks amazing. My only issues here are not with the bridge itself but the area around it. It's very quiet and no life or atmosphere around it, there is a lot of potential but super dead. Also it's feel a little unsafe in the nightfall. I've walked over and around it in the evening and there people looking dodgy.
