I like the range, which is great value before midday, weekdays! I'm not so much a fan of the course. To be fair, I haven't played it for a while, but there are better courses locally that also present better value.
Very nice 9/18 hole course. Staff in the pro shop are very friendly. Can't wait to play there again.
I’d seriously avoid till works on the greens being carried out is completed. It did state when booking and price was reduced by £3 but I expected it to at least be playable. 75% of holes had makeshift ‘greens’ and it was like trying to putt on a regular field. Only reason I’m not giving a 1 is that it would be a nice course when correct greens are in play.
Lovely people. Have taken kids here from our specialist school here on numerous occasions. Very helpful staff, they even offered free advice and tuiton. Thanks lads.
Very poor in all honesty. As soon as I walked into the clubshop, the pro said "no bags in here unless you're playing the course", Ok fair enough. I went back to my car and went back to the range with about 6 clubs. Then he said "the Tees aren't working either" , OK these things happen. I needed to practice a 70-80% SW, but it wasn't possible due the the large overhang of the nets on the ground floor bays, I hit 5 shots and hit the net overhead every time. The balls are low quality and many have erratic flight. £7 for 90 balls is excessive. I'll use Yarm going forward, they're using tracers on all bays now. Manjaros is very nice next door though.
