Been a member here for a few years, it’s gone down hill recently. Hydro pool is hardly ever functioning, the showers don’t have any soap in, and overall experience and satisfaction is crappy.

Went there on a free day pass to see if i got the buzz off the place which unfortunately I didn't, the staff are nice and helpfull and the gym area and cafe are immaculate with a nice modern feel,but after the 300k+ refurb in 2023 I was expecting it all to be done.The changing rooms are the same looking abit tired from some 10 years ago, the upper running track has clear stains and dirt right around it asthough the roof is leaking and the hydro pool and sauna wasnt fully working and by what I heard off other members it's a common issue with not one thing fully working and are attending as they are tied in and are trying to get there moneys worth. Staff do seem to be constantly wiping down and cleaning which is good but when you look closely there's aged issues that are getting polished over and for £25 joining fee and £55PM locked in for a fixed 12 month contract, as everyone knows there's other gyms around that have what these are offering for £25-£30PM if not less but admittedly without the sauna/steam room and hydro pool but is that really worth the extra £30PM especially when either one of them is not guaranteed to be working correctly. If total fitness offered a pay per visit deal with a £50 returnable deposit maybe I would be tempted but unfortunately I'm not.

Went for a day pass. The lady who took me around excellent. Facilities amazing. Some old school machines with new. Goid functuional area. Getting my membership september. Did not give 5 as it needs a bit of TLC decor wise but defo close to a 5.

Really horrible. So expensive and then they cancel your membership without your permission, so you have to pay 25 joining fee plus monthly payment every time u go back. Only can freeze membership once. It's disgusting and has no care for clients. I didn't even ask for my membership to be cancelled and the guy cancelled it without explaining to me the process etc, I was injured and only went three sessions and thought ill wait till I feel better Really really disappointed. No care for clients at all.

It's ok. Too expensive for what it is I'd say. The locker room really really lets the place down. It hasn't been updated for as long as I can remember. I try to take my son (age 8) but the classes aren't great. The size of the building is great with plenty of machines to use (even when busy)..but it's just ok. Nothing special.
