Beautiful place, car park with honesty box with toilet facilities which were very clean

Fantastic spot for a cold dip after a run / hike. I was lucky to have the place to myself.

Lovely walk between muker and thwaite. Would recommend having hiking boots and paths down to waterfall quite steep with muddy sections and fallen trees. Upper section has pool which is good for swimming and the lower main waterfall is good for cliff jumping.

Did a 12 miles circular walk from postcode DL11 6QG. Along the route there are a series of amazing waterfalls, woodland walks, hills and scenery. Wonderful day out. Expect to come across some muddy terrain and people taking a plunge in the water. Note; the main waterfall (i am standing next to it) is very deep.

Absolutely stunning place. Back to back waterfalls both with deep enough water for you to jump if you wish. We went the wrong way!! Being our first time there lol so here's how you get there.. Park up at rukins. Walk back out the way you drove in and down a foot path directly opposite. When the path splits. Take the right hand path up through a gate. When you get to a clearing by a cliff face there a small path down a drop off to the left follow this down to the falls.. and enjoy
