Todmorden Library

As a visitor the staff could not be more friendly and helpful. The provision of warmth, tea and biscuits is also very kind. The books on the local area are interesting. The children's area is great. You may read the daily newspapers and computers are available. All in all this is my favourite town library.

Wonderful library, always get loads done. Relaxed but quiet. Loads of good books. Really nice librarians. Printing very affordable.

Worse run library in the country, librarians are unable to help you the most simple basic enquiries. If you want to use the photo copier, no one knows how to use it. Must cost local rate payers fortune in keeping it open, because when you visit it, there's no one in the library apart from yourself and librarians. I counted four librarians when I visited the library and none of them were working, apart talking to one another. If no one uses the todmodern library why keep it open? Money would be better spent on helping local people with cost of living crisis or using the money on local schools rather than a library which should have been closed long ago

Great space, kind and helpful librarians and does lots of work for the community. They also told me I can use uLIBRARY, Libby and cloudLibrary digital services with my card, which is very cool.

Fantastic library with friendly staff and a good selection of books
