We booked this pub for my friend’s hen do in October and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The team went above and beyond to make the night special for us. They even put on karaoke, which completely made the evening and had everyone involved and laughing all night. The food was great too – really tasty and well organised for a group our size. The staff were friendly, accommodating and made everything feel effortless, which meant we could just relax and enjoy ourselves. A huge thank you to everyone at the pub for helping make the hen do such a memorable night. We would absolutely recommend it for anyone booking a celebration or group event and would love to come back again!
Really nice quirky pub, well worth a visit good selection of cask beers, lagers and ciders, however the landlord was reluctant to give me small tasters and pub was not busy. I was showing customers some of my purchases from auction 100% not trying to sell anything as I know it's not acceptable to try and sell in a public house. All customers I spoke to confirmed I was not trying to sell as I don't need to. Landlord got quite nasty and I was escorted from the pub, i had 2 pints. Landlord actually looked at one of my purchases and was laughing and impressed. I tried to speak him calmly but he wouldn't listen. I would gladly go back in the pub to have a grown up conversation with the landlord and landlady, but I know they wouldn't agree to this. I don't actually want to go back in this establshment for a drink as I know the landlord appears to dislike me. Sorry for long review, 💕💕
Loved this pub! Lovely friendly service and,as much as I’d like to keep it a secret, the food is amazing, home cooked and very pocket friendly. The knobblers were gorgeous and the gravy to die for! Can’t praise it enough! Highly recommend it!
Excellent venue, good and service. Warm, friendly and even our dog was catered for. Fantastic decor but comfy and lifts your spirits. Will be a regular haunt from now on.
Staying at the polish knob can only be described as a pleasure From making the initial booking to finally turning up and meeting Joanne, it has been seamless The food is to die for , the rooms are absolutely gorgeous , clean and the decor is 2nd to none. Joanne makes you feel so welcome and part of the family never paying guest to miss an option to stay here would be a grave error. I cannot praise the polish knob enough.
