I love this place for an excellent choice of coffee's & teas plus toasted current tcakes/crumpets and cakes. Only downside is customer's eating their savory food bought elsewhere both sides of me today, which the smell of made me feel a bit of nausea and put me off my order, there are at least 3 other seated cafe areas for enjoying different sorts of savoury food. Other places don't allow you to consume your own food for various reasons. Other than that,I would recommend exchange coffee in Todmorden indoor market.

Hopped up onto a couple of stools, two dirty cups in front of us on the counter, taken away, no eye contact, no acknowledgement of our existence. Three members of staff came to our end of the counter for various duties, but still no eye contact nor acknowledgement. I tried the house macchiato and my wife the Asian Uganda moon (I think). No advice as to the strength or otherwise of the various blends. My coffee was average, certainly not up to the standard of other coffee houses, my wife's coffee, extremely weak, almost floral. Admittedly her fault for not asking, but by this stage we were losing interest in the whole experience. No offer of a loyalty card. I could NOT recommend this experience to anyone and certainly not to someone I cared about. Next time I will keep my money and appetite for the market cafe, while they don't have the extensive range of exotic coffee, they do have good food, pleasant staff and a coffee worthy of the name.

Lively local vibe but for a specialist coffee stall the coffee wasn't great. Milk overheated. Staff a bit brusque on the day I visited.

Always kept waiting while management seem to prefer chatting to their mates that turn up then get served before you, even though you’ve been waiting for 25 minutes while being ignored. Coffee is great can’t fault it, it’s just a shame the staff seem to be lacking in any sort of personality. I found the Costa machine round the corner to be more hospitable.
