Honestly, the loveliest cafe around town. We always pop in, have a brew, some food and play some games. The selection of games are amazing, it’s always got such a lovely atmosphere. The family who run and own the cafe are just so welcoming. It’s one of my favourite spots! Seeing it busy makes me so happy (even if it means sometimes we have to take a little walk for tables to be free) because there’s no where else we’d rather spend a few hours relaxing! Thank you to the family who run it, I really do hope the new year is thriving for you all! Thank you for being a wonderful space
It was absolutely amazing. I came with my family and the service was absolutely stunning, all the staff are really nice. We had toasties and milk shakes and they were gorgeous I would totally recommend. The lovely staff were also polite and welcoming overall, it's a beautiful place and it has a very cosy atmosphere and tons of fun games.
A really unpleasant and uncomfortable experience. I paid at the counter while placing my order and the value was taken from my account. While we were waiting for our order the lady came over and claimed the payment hadn’t gone through. I showed her my banking app which showed it had. She shuffled off mumbling but it didn’t stop there. The owner was insistent that the payment hadn’t gone through. I showed her several times the deduction from my account on my online banking app. We had our drinks and cake but couldn’t enjoy either because of the atmosphere over the payment. I was about to pay AGAIN before we left as we’d been made to feel like we were scamming them for 9 quid infront of the other customers…. When lo and behold the payment HAD gone through. A very weak apology… should have offered a full refund. Learn how to use your payment machine as you were clearly clueless. I enjoyed the experience as much as you’ll probably enjoy this 1 star review. Update on owner’s response. I suggest you check again because the transaction definitely HAS gone through.
I absolutely love this cafe, very friendly, I come in often with my dogs, they always have sweets for them, the food is top notch, they always make me feel welcome, highly recommend.
Nice little coffee shop. Dog friendly and helpful staff. Baked potato and tuna was nice and so was the Tea Cake and Bagel.
