My son (trans) wanted his hair cutting he always had long, thick hair and it was a lot to process for both of us. After some research we came across Keri, they created the perfect environment for both of us to have an enjoyable experience. I honestly can’t sing their praises enough, they’re brilliant at what they do and my son can’t wait to return.

I used to dread getting my hair cut, but now it's one of my favourite things all month. The studio is peaceful and Keri is kind, funny and SO GOOD AT HAIR. When I don't know how to say what I want, they work with me to figure it out, giving me options and advice on how different cuts will grow out. On my first cut, they asked if I wanted the shape to feel more masculine, feminine or androgynous, and then explained to me how different shapes and fades affect the overall look. I have learned so much about what makes me feel comfortable thanks to Keri, and also my hair looks great!

So pleased I found this place! I'll happily have a drive over from Blackpool because Keri not only makes me feel relaxed and at ease but they really know short hair and helps me in achieving my new look. My teens have also been for long hair cuts with Lily and were really happy with their experience!

I had my hair cut at affirmation for the first time recently, I'd been umming and arring about chopping it off for ages and Kerri was so helpful with recommendations and know-how, put me totally at ease. They were super friendly, relaxed and welcoming and I've had so many compliments about the cut since - absolutely recommend 👌 ☺️

Highly recommend. I travel though from Leeds (to Todmorden) as Keri does an excellent job on my hair. They really know their stuff! Keri and Lily are so talented and friendly and the vibe of the salon is brilliant.
