I very rarely post reviews and when I do they are mostly negative but in this case I cannot fault bankstone they have been more than helpful. I dealt with Paul Barrett who was fantastic to deal with very fast to reply, managed to get my gap payment sorted before my insurance had even paid out which has been a real saving grace. Thank you again

Having been passed from one insurance company to another via my main insurance company when making a claim, Bankstone was one of the 6 companies...Yes 6! I had to deal with in order to complete my claim. I had several "Bolt-Ons'" for my insurance and little did I know each one would come with there own insurance company that I had to deal with! Bankstone did the paperwork for my excess reclaim within a day (Great!) but payment didn't come.... Upon querying this a week later, what initially was a negative experience with a call handler resulted in a swift sincere apology from the MD and payment received that same day. I'm unsure of what the hold up was but the way their MD handled this was swift and to the point, turning what could have been another negative experience with another insurance company in to a positive one. Thank you so much!

I have been waiting a year and 2 months to hear about my ongoing claim and keep getting fobbed of with the same excuse that somebody will call me back or contact me i have called lots of time to get a update nobody gets back to me how could they if they don’t even take any details to know who to contact back. absolutely terrible at keeping you informed of how your claim is progressing even though I requested fortnightly reports every time I made contact. I would advise steering clear of them
