Nice independent bakery chain with a range of cakes and savory items

Always had an extremely poor experience here since they've opened years back. I'd never leave such a review on an independent business, but learning they're a chain I think its deserved. The members of staff are always cold and rude to me. If you ask questions, they're snappy off the bat. They've rushed me along, corrected me and scoffed at me multiple times. I only ever went in when everything else was shut because I think the food quality is shocking. Open sandwiches with flies on, cakes in plastic wrap in the window and tiny squished, damp pies. The last time I went in I was shouted at being told they don't do jacket potatoes on Saturday after asking what toppings they had. Apparently they never have done jacket potatoes on Saturdays and I should know that. I was quickly moved along. This was the first time I'd ever come in for a jacket potato, I was led in from the sign outside that advertises in big bold letters 'hot jacket potatoes'. How stupid am I? I haven't gone in since and won't be doing again, you can get far better grab food from todmordens inside market where all the food is sourced from local farms and its a much better price from people who care, even just a little bit.

Good quality food, at fair prices. Hardly the friendliest though - looked like their faces would crack if they smiled! 😂

Food is really good but the service is a let down! the lady with the red hair (Not sure on her name) she sounds moody when she answers the phone and is just so rude and lets it down for the rest of the team. The closing times state they close at 3:30pm but come 1/2pm they say they are shutting down? surly it doesn't take you that long to clean down?

Nothing but friendly staff and a fast/efficient service. P.s. Paige Newsome If the service is that much of a letdown for you, may i suggest you try mcdonalds. The happy meals will appeal to your limited palate and the customer interaction you get at the drivethrough will appeal to your rather limited intellect.
