This is indeed a wonderful shop! The owner, Clare is lovely and handpicks a fab selection of artists, designers and makers, who make a great range of products including jewellery, ceramics, clothes, cards, candles, gifts and cards. I always enjoy looking round this shop and it's brilliant for unique gifts (and treats to self!) - today I picked up a lovely handmade mask and hair wrap, along with a gorgeous pop-up card. Top shop thanks! :)
A lovely shop full of surprises! I popped in today to browse for birthday presents and found a delightful shop run by a very friendly lady doing origami. We had a nice chat about the shop, and I didn't feel under pressure to make purchases or chat if I didn't want to. She clearly cares about the people who sell their makings in her shop too, which is nice. There's a great selection of items all made in the UK, much of which is local to Tod. Plenty of very affordable items too a fair amount around a tenner! Imagine! Items for sale range from jewellery to art prints, hand made beautiful teddy bears, all manner of decorative items, felted goods, candles and suchlike. As a very clumsy autistic person I found it an easy shop to navigate, not too cramped or crowded, and everything laid out nicely so you can see the items and their prices without having to ask :).
