A lucky find…. This pub has history! and a lovely atmosphere. My soup was made from homegrown veg and served by very pleasant staff. There was a room with board games being played… a quiz happening and a traditional feel to the whole place. We loved it, can’t wait to return 👍💌
Lovely pub and restaurant in Todmorden. Family friendly and easy going, with good quality food able to cater to a range of diets. All the staff are easy to interact with and made dining with small children feel unpressured.
Called in for lunch, very boring menu leans heavily towards vegetarian decided not to bother after chefs over enthusiastic recommendation of special his nails were in need of a good scrub. Otherwise decor and seating is nice and surfaces etc were clean as were toilets just not impressed by chef
Really enjoyed our experience here! Staff were so helpful and really attentive to our needs. Food was beautiful and great portion sizes and the best gravy!! Sat by the real fire and loved the whole experience from start to finish. Can’t wait to try the pies and other exciting things on the menu and visit on other days of the week for live music and quiz’s. So happy it’s reopened!! Well done everyone!
Dreadful. I'm not one to complain, but we did. Roast beef Sunday lunch. I should have known better, you couldn't smell food cooking at all. Dinner came, beef, omfg... 2 slivers of what appeared to be pre sliced catering beef. £33 for 2 meals (with extra pigs in blankets). . No taste, cold, gravy awful- too thick and gravy granules One of the worst meals I have ever had Absolutely shocking
