Description

Sinkinson House Farm is an 18th century farmhouse set in the idyllic rural Yorkshire countryside. The accommodation comprises a kitchen, living room/snug and a dining room downstairs, both the living room and the dining room have log burning stoves, making for a warm country feeling. Upstairs there is a large family bathroom, double bedroom and a large double/family room with ensuite bathroom. There is plenty of parking at the property which is currently being used as an equestrian establishment with various equines from hairy ponies to point to point racehorses. Although primarily a bed and breakfast, your host is prepared to offer (at additional cost) both lunch and evening meals if prior notice is given.

Sinkinson is situated very close to York with all its attractions, including the Yorvik centre and the Railway Museum. If city life with all its hustle and bustle isn't for you then why not take a drive to Scarborough / Whitby with all the seaside attractions or Pocklington, Beverley, Malton and Pickering, all market towns, offering markets and museums. Visit Castle Howard and of course the North Yorkshire Steam Railway.

There are plenty of activities available, 18 hole golf courses, places to go for walks, or use your bike. There are stables so bring your horse to stay! Fishing is popular too with the River Derwent only a stones throw away.

Vicky, your host is very welcoming and will go to any lengths to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Timeout beauty therapy and sports injury rehabilitation is also based at the farmhouse with Vicky being a fully qualified beauty therapist as well as a Bowen Sports Injury Therapist, so why not treat yourself or your loved one to a relaxing massage or even some beauty treatments.

Sinkinson Farmhouse is pet friendly, although your host has 3 dogs of her own, so a pet guest must be agreed prior to booking. Everyone loves it here including dogs and horses! Groups are welcome with various options and activities available, so please contact me to discuss your requirements.
