Keighley Golf Club

Our visit to Keighley Golf Club was extremely disappointing. Not only were the arrangements completely different from what we were promised, but we also faced racist behaviour during our time there — something that should never happen anywhere, let alone in a place that claims to be welcoming. To make matters worse, the chef, Jeremy, was incredibly ill-mannered and unprofessional throughout. His attitude only added to what was already a very upsetting experience. The lack of organisation, respect, and basic courtesy was shocking, and it left us feeling unwelcome and disrespected. We had high expectations based on how the event was presented, but the experience was nothing like what was described. I sincerely hope the management takes this seriously and addresses both the unprofessional behaviour and the discriminatory attitude we encountered. No one should have to go through that.

I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration regarding the disastrous experience at my recent event held at your venue. Despite booking the hall well in advance and providing all necessary details to your staff and the manager, I was appalled by the complete lack of preparation and professionalism on the day of the event. I had met with the team, including the manager, the night before to confirm all arrangements, yet when my guests arrived, the tables were completely bare — no cutlery, plates, or decorations as agreed. To make matters worse, one of your staff members, Jeremy, was extremely rude and unhelpful. Our requests for basic table settings were denied, and he even asked my guests to leave while turning off the lights mid-event. The drink bottles and supplies I had dropped off the night before were left on the floor in bags, untouched. Throughout this ordeal, the manager, Callum, was unreachable and did not return any of our calls, leaving us without support or resolution. This was meant to be a special occasion, and the lack of professionalism and preparation completely ruined the experience for me and my guests. I expect an immediate explanation and appropriate action to address this unacceptable situation.

Nice friendly golf club although the access is a little unusual. Good golf course, good mix of holes, a couple quite physically challenging. Professional shop wasn't open but the bar manager was very helpful. Very nice food and drink afterwards.

We booked the venue and they did not deliver what it was promised. The person who took the booking did not show up the next day. He didn’t pick up the calls. They promised us Crockery and cutlery, the day of the event they refuse to give it to us. They did not let us stay until the time we booked the venue for. they were low-key racist as well, not gonna recommend this to anybody.

We had a lovely day at Keighley Golf Club - the Members, Manager and the Staff were all very helpful and welcoming. The course was a hidden gem with a variety of holes. We would love to go back and will recommend the course to others back home. Thank you.
