My family and I are members of Grace Church Wakefield and have loved to see, and be involved in, a church restarting here for Eastmoor. It's a place where you can hear the truth from the Bible plainly and meet a mix of people who believe it and try to live it out as well as people who are exploring the Christian faith. Our experience is that it's a place to feel welcome and at ease (whether you're familiar with church or not) and a place usually full of people who love each other and others enough to care about them and to care about what the Bible has to offer them.
I first attended this church as a child many years ago before it closed down.I would go with my late auntie who always called the church,The Mission. What a joy and privilege it now is to be part of it’s reopening as Grace church Wakefield Eastmoor site.Delivering promotion leaflets at times around Eastmoor estate for me personally has been incredibly encouraging. Many people seem to have memories of when the church was previously open and appeared genuinely interested in its reopening. We have already seen in just a few months ,new people coming regularly and we continue to pray for more. I Praise God for His Faithfulness and the blessing of the church services and fellowship over my life.
