St John’s is my family church and I have recently starting going again after a few years away! My partner and I have been welcomed with open arms and we look forward to going to the services on Sundays and the other activities the church holds.
Lovely church just outside the town centre of Wakefield.
I’ve always loved this building. Absolutely gorgeous.
I love st.johns you can feel God's presence....and it's just a healing church so very peaceful......the people are welcoming and lovely and there's a place at the front where you can light a candle...after the service there is tea ..coffee ..buns a d biscuits and a chance to sit and talk to people ...would recommend it to anyone...and to those who haven't met Jesus yet x
Great building, obviously lots of history there. Attended a Christening and while I'm not a regular church goer, it was a nice experience and everyone we met from the church couldn't have been more welcoming. Clearly a great community and an asset to the area
