What a joy this library is! I am so glad that it is my local library because it is just a delight. It is a much bigger building that I was expecting and there is a great choice of books on the shelves. The staff had made a real effort with Christmas displays which I always love. The library has a number of facilities, including printing. The building was lovely and warm when I visited and there was a great vibe with fair few people mingling. Wakefield have a fantastic library service and you can easily get any book delivered to the library nearest you if you can't find the book you want on the shelf. Get to your local libraries people!

I go to Horbury library because my Ossett library is closed until later on this year. I love reading and I find my librarians are fantastic. Nothing is too much trouble. Always approachable and very knowledgeable. Well done girls❤xx

Great place! I love just browsing for books on my own. I bring the grandkids here to do lego & jigsaws (as well as reading books). Staff friendly & helpful. All good, use it & keep it going.

I work remotely on my own and was checking a few jobs for the company I work for in horbury and ossett , I needed the toilet really bad so called into this public library to be confronted by the rudist lady ever , point blanked refused me to use their toilet and asked me to leave , I have never been as humiliated in all my life over a bodily function we all have , terrible reflection on wakefield council and god forbid this lady ever gets caught short , I hope she soils herself , please note I have only given 1 star because I cant give none.....
